The officers and staff at Fremont Lodge are busy making plans for a busy summer.
We will again sponsor the "Elks League" youth baseball program in our city. This league is pre little league and is one of the more popular programs in the Fremont City Recreation Departments Youth baseball program. We take great pride in placing 22 American Flags each morning and taking them down each night in our community park, which is located in the center of Fremont, just in front of the Sandusky County Courthouse. We do this beginning Memorial Day and ending on Labor Day, except for special events such as Veterans Day. Our Flag Day program is very popular among the citizens of Fremont, and we are in the planning process of another community ceremony for June 14, 2011. We are committed to our Veterans and do what we can for the vets at the Sandusky Veterans home. We are active in "Adopt a Vet", and are in the adoption process for a new vet.
