NOMINATIONS FOR OUR 2006-2007 Lodge year Elective Officers will initially be made at this Lodge Meeting in accordance with G.L.S. Sec. 3.080, 12.150 and 15.010 for Exalted Ruler, Esteemed Leading Knight, Esteemed Loyal Knight, Esteemed Lecturing Knight, Secretary, Treasurer, Tiler, Trustee for 5 years and Alternate Representative to 2007 National Convention 08-12 July 2007 at Charlotte, N.C.
Any additional nominations maybe made Wednesday, 21 February 2007 just prior to the Annual Elections that date.
ELKS NATIONAL FOUNDATION - We attach herewith an appeal for the brethren to act favorably on ENF request for contributions which at this time only USD500 has been credited for our credit. Therefore, we again appeal to those who have never contributed to please reconsider and act favorably or for those who have contributed less than USD100 to please reconsider and increase your donations so that we can help the beneficiaries to enjoy a better life. On behalf of the beneficiaries we thank you in advance for your generosity.
REMINDER - 2007 Car Sticker at Php100 / pc. must be renewed before 31 January 2007. In this respect issuance of a car sticker is a benefit only for those members in Good Standing i.e. they must possess a Valid current dues card to 01 April 2007. If you are still delinquent in the payment of your 2006-2007 Annual Dues No sticker will be issued. A copy of the car registration is required for new cars or cars that do not have a 2006 sticker.

MEMBERSHIP/FELLOWSHIP NIGHT - Thursday, 25 January 2007 at 6:00p.m. will be the first "Membership/Fellowship Night for 2007". Please invite a prospective member. With complimentary drinks and finger foods. It is our way of showing your guest the best of the Elks Club in a very informal atmosphere. Dear Brethren,
This is a friendly reminder that we are in the last quarter of the Elks National Foundation (ENF) Annual Appeal which for this Lodge year is 01 April 2006 - 31 March 2007.
We regret to advise that our brethren so far this year have fallen behind in their contributions to the ENF. It is hoped that all will reconsider their thoughts on the amount they have/will contribute and our new members are reminded that the beneficiaries are very thankful for the assistance they receive.
Last year we received our 15th consecutive "Best Grand Lodge Area" Award and we look forward to our 16th award but it will not be possible unless our brethren send in their contributions immediately.
As a reminder, last year the contributions credited to Manila Lodge No. 761 were USD3,071.36 and in return we received USD8,316 for distribution to various charitable organizations. Note: Contributions must be received at ENF Headquarters, 2750 N. Lakeview Avenue, Chicago, IL 60614-1889 by 20 March 2007 to ensure the Lodge/Membership contributions are credited for this Lodge year.
ENF has sent us a list of 22 members who contributed in 2005-2006 but have not yet contributed for the 2006-2007 ENF appeal. To date only US$500 has been credited to Manila Lodge No. 761.
We have often said, "although we are SMALL we are DYNAMIC and the returns on your investments are LARGE." Remember they assist the handicap beneficiaries to enjoy a better life thru the results of your generosity. In anticipation of your answering their prayers, we, on behalf of the future beneficiaries, thank you in advance in favorably attending to our appeal.
Stateside members please send yours to "Elks National Foundation", 2750 N. Lakeview Avenue, Chicago, IL 60614-1889 and request as a member of Manila Lodge No. 761 that they also credit Manila Lodge No. 761 accordingly. If in the Philippines drop it at the Secretary's office and we will mail it for you. If writing a peso check it is payable to Manila Lodge No. 761 repeat Manila Lodge No. 761 with a notation "ENF". For the dollar equivalent consider P50.00/$1.00.
