The members, Officers, Trustees and employees of Xenia Elks Lodge #668 are very proud of our accomplishments over the past several months.
In May, the Lodge presented eighteen young men and women from the local and surrounding communities, each a $1000.00 scholarship to the College, University or Technical School they will be attending this fall.
In June the Lodge purchased 6 "TASER" guns for the Xenia Police Dept. at a cost of $6000.00. Also in June, the Lodge donated $2500.00 to the "Interfaith Hospitality Network" to assist in the renovation of an old hotel to be used as a homeless shelter. The Lodge purchased for the Xenia Fire Dept. two carbon monoxide scanners at a cost of $5000.00. The Lodge also sponsored several youth football, baseball and scoccer teams.
In all the Lodge has donated well over $26,000.00 to the community and the year is far from over.
Thanks to the support of our members and there guest, the hard work of the Officers, Trustees and our employees, we will continue to support the community.
