Brother and Sister Elks;
Several
of us from #1192 attended the Grand Lodge Convention in Minneapolis. All
had an educational and good time. Highlights were membership and ENF. Let us
all do our part, use the Lodge and propose a friend who would make a good Elk.
As usual, our prime
rib night was awesome as always and we had a good turnout
for Broasted Chicken
the following night.
Kevin Curran is back
at it… He will be hosting a Brat and Sweet Corn Feed on August 5th
from 6:30 to 7:30pm. Pub Trivia will
follow at 8. Teams will consist of 4 – 6 people at $5 per person. You can register your team with Kevin.
The family picnic is
August 19th at 1936 216th Street. We will be cooking the meat in the
ground the old-fashioned way. Please RSVP by August 11th if you plan to attend so
we know how much meat to prepare. If
there is not enough interest, the picnic will be canceled.
Come up and enjoy the
view of downtown through our freshly cleaned windows. Don’t forget to watch your email and check
