Northeast Montana Health Services received $1,750 in supplies from Beacon Grant
The Elks National Foundation has made $3,500 in Beacon grants available to every lodge. Beacon grants allow lodges a chance to develop an on-going, charitable Elks-driving community project. After seeing a Facebook post by former local nurse Paige Stanton about starting a diaper drive, Wolf Point Elks secretary Julie D’Ambrosio thought that a great local project for the Elks would be providing needed supplies to foster babies in the area.The result was, through a Beacon grant, donating $1,750 in supplies to Northeast Montana Health Services in Wolf Point.
Items donated at the hospital included clothes, blankets, bibs, wipes, baby lotion and gift cards.
