Scotia Glenville Lodge #2759 used their Anniversary Grant to assist with funding for the local Weekend Back Pack program administered by The City Mission of Schenectady. Members and guests packed the bags with fresh fruit, canned goods and dry goods in which they delivered 100 bags weekly to a local elementary school on November 27, 2017 and on December 20, 2017. The program serves 1,100 children in the local community. In addition to this, Members made 500 Sandwiches which were delivered on Saturday October 28, 2017 as part of this grant. The Lodge typically packs 400 bags; as this is done twice a week.
