Another Way to Help Out The Children
Our California Hawaii Elks Association, of which we are a part of, has a charitable arm we know best as the "Purple Pig." When we became Elks, we were urged to place "a coin a day, so the children could walk, talk and play" in a purple plastic pig given to us and then to donate our pig's contents annually. This is just one way to make sure we have enough money available to continue providing home visits by therapists free of charge to parents of disabled children throughout California and Hawaii.
