FREEDOM GRANT 2025
On November 4, 2025 Members of our Lodge delivered Member donations of shirts and blankets, 30 dictionaries purchased with BINGO funds, and the items purchased using our $1,000 Freedom Grant from the Elks National Foundation to the Prescott VA Hospital. Through the use of the Freedom Grant we were able to provide the long-term residents at the hospital with 15 CD Walkmans w/headphones, 4 Domino sets, 72 pairs of various strength Readers, and 15 Fidget Blankets. These items will enable them to read and watch TV, listen to music or books, play dominos, a cognitive activity, or just sit and fidget. The ENF Grants are made possible by your donations. Thank you and keep those donations rolling in.
Besides buying the dictionaries, BINGO funds were used to purchase $500 in commissary cards for the patients’ use. So if you see a BINGO player, thank them, because it is their contributions that make many of our Lodge charitable donations possible.
