Midwest City Elks hold every year a local hoop shoot contest for ages 8-13. We hold our local event at local schools in the area. The schools in the area hold a contest earlier and then send their winners for the lodge contest. The contest usually starts about 9am and concludes about 11:30am. Our winners receive an award. Our first place winners are invited to attend the District Hoop Shoot . From there, if they place first place, they will then go on to the Regional Hoop Shoot and then National.
