  • 2023 MVS Scholarship Awards

    Michael Polubinski sponsored by Joliet Lodge No. 296 is one of the 32 district winners and will be receiving $750 for four years to help with his college costs.

  • 2022-23 Lodge Awards

    At the April 11,2023 lodge meeting PER David Schultz presented the following awards for the 2022-23 lodge year:

  • DINNERS DURING LENT

    Dinners were start on Ash Wednesday, Weds. Feb. 22. Dinner times are from 4-7 pm.

  • PRE- NEW YEARS EVE PARTY & POTLUCK DINNER WITH KARAOKE- DECEMBER 30TH

    The lodge is hosting a Pre New Years Eve Party and would like to extend an invitation to come on out for a potluck dinner on Friday December 30.

    Starting on Friday September 2nd and then every first Friday of the month we will be having dart tournaments at the lodge starting at 7 pm.

    The 2023 Elks Most Valuable Student Contest begins on August 1,2022.

  • PT/OT SCHOLARSHIP NEWS

    Congrats to Holly Hildebrand. See is a receiptient of the 2022-23 CCC PT/OT Scholarship and sponsored by Joliet Lodge #296. She will receive $1900 for the 2022-23 school year to help with her educational costs.

  • SCHOLARSHIP NEWS

    Congratulations to Alivia Glas she is a district winner for the lodge for the MVS Scholarship Contest. On behalf of the lodge congrats. The lodge also has one female applicant advancing to the National contest. Sabrina Hassan from Minooka. Congrats and good luck to Sabrina as she competes to be the top female MVS award winner.

  • LODGE OPEN ON SUNDAYS

    Starting April 3, 2022, the lodge will be open on Sundays from 12-5 pm. There will be $1.50 domestic bottles and appetizers. Please note that we will be closed on holiday Sundays, i.e. Easter. SO COME ON OUT AND BRING YOUR FRIENDS!

  • Special Lodge Meeting

    In accordance with GLS 15.070, the membership is hereby informed of a special lodge meeting to be held on Tuesday March 29th at 7 pm, for the sole purpose of a special initiation.

  • ST. Patrick's DAY DINNER

    The lodge will be serving corn beef and all the fixings on March 12th from 4 - 7 pm. Cost -$12/person. Please contact the lodge to sign up if you plan on attending. So come on out, wear your green and come enjoy the fun.

  • FRIDAY NIGHT DINNERS

    Friday Night Dinners will return to the lodge during Lent starting with the Ash Wednesday dinner on March 2nd. Please see the March Elk Call for the dinner Menu or stop by the lodge tp get a copy. Dinners will be served from 4:30 - 7:30 pm and carry outs are available. Dinners will be every Friday during the Lenten season, ending on Good Friday April 15th. We hope to see you and your guests at one or all of these dinners!!

  • 2022 CHILDREN'S CARE CORP. CALENDARS

    These calendars are now available for purchase at the lodge. Cost $20/calendar. Each calendar comes with a stub which needs to be filled out when sent to the CCC. Once received that stub is placed in the drawings for the WHOLE year meaning you could win 261 times! The prize breakdown is as follows: 246 weekly drawings for $50.00 11 monthly drawings for $100 3 special drawings for $1,000 1 grand prize drawing of $5,000. These calendars make a great gift for Christmas, birthdays or a prize for a lodge event. Again contact the lodge to get yours today!

  • ELKS LODGE 296 RECEIVES 2021 BEST OF JOLIET AWARD

    Elks lodge No. 296 has been selected for the 2021 Best of Joliet Award in the Community Organizations category by the Joliet Awards Program. This award is an annual award program honoring the achievements and accomplishments of local businesses throughout the Joliet Area. Winners are determined based on information gathered both internally by the Joliet Award Program and date provided by third parties.
