The Alamogordo Lodge is located in the Southern part of the city. Exit Hiway 54/70 east at stop light at Panorama Blvd. Travel east 1/2 block and turn South on Hamilton Road. Continue South for approximately 0.8 mile. Lodge is on the right. Lodge faces the Sacramento Mountains to the East.
Lounge is open at 11:00 am daily and from 12 to 6 pm on Sundays. Legal Gaming is available to members and spouses with Elk identification cards. Game room is open at 12:00 noon Monday thru Saturday. Sundays, game room closed.
Wednesday and Friday dinners are provided by volunteers, 5 to 7 pm. Mondays Elks burgers from 5 to 7 pm.Thursday evening hot wings. Watch Calendar for dinner menu specials and added events on weekends.
Lodge 1897 has a new pool. The 30X50 foot pool is inclosed for year around use. The building has mens and womens changing rooms at the west end. There is also a patio area between the Lodge building and the pool building. OPEN
Lodge has available eleven (11) full hookups with 30 amp service,and four (4) full hookups with 50 amp service, for members and visiting Elks. For larger groups the RV Area can be expanded to 90 spaces with 30 amp power available to 60 spaces. Groups interested in visiting should contact the lodge in advance. A donation of $15 is encouraged for each night in the area. We also have an on site dump for holding tanks.
The Alamogordo Lodge has wireless internet service in the Lodge and in the RV parking area. Please see bartender for user name and password.
The City owned and operated 18 hole Golf course is located adjacent to the lodge. Available to lodge visitors 7 days a week. The Lodge has an active Golf Group that normally play on Wednesday evening during the summer months.
Alamogordo is located in the Tularosa Basin of Southern New Mexico. The Air Force has selected the nearby Air Base as the location for the F-22 Raptor fighters. The Space Hall of Fame is located in Alamogordo. The White Sands National Monument and the 9,000 foot cool mountains are within 20 miles. The "Billy the Kid" Museum is about 50 miles..
