Harrison Township, Ohio, USA. - Kevin Malloy, Exalted Ruler of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks USA, Dayton Lodge #58 presented Mark Lynch, Fire Chief Harrison Township Fire Department with a Multi-Gas Detector which was obtained by an Ohio Elks Association Community Service Grant. Harrison Township Fire Department currently has a 3 gas detector which senses oxygen levels, carbon monoxide and flammability levels. The donated detector will also detect Hydrogen Sulfide. Hydrogen Sulfide is an odorless and colorless gas, when entering an area you have no idea it is there until a person becomes unconscious. This donation is just another example of Elks Care and Elks Share.
