Did you know that ENF’s Community Investments Program (CIP) has grants that every Elks Lodge can apply for each year? The Freedom, Beacon, Gratitude, Spotlight Grants all have individual guidelines, but they all must be projects that serve specific populations in the Lodge’s community, such as people experiencing homelessness or facing food insecurity, survivors of abuse, students from families that are under-resourced, people with disabilities, or individuals facing other barriers, such as Veterans at risk of or experiencing homelessness. In 2025, The Vestal Lodge received and utilized all 4 grants. This month we highlight the Freedom Grant. This is a $1,000 grant given to 1,000 Lodges for Veteran-based charitable donations. Vestal Lodge #2508 used this money in 2025 to purchase additional items for the Veterans Supply Drive that was held on Veterans Day in November 2025.
