State Associations Bulletin Contest 'I'
How well does your State publication communicate within your State? Does it present news of events coming up and those that have taken place? Does it contain articles about Lodges of interest to other Lodges in your State? Articles about the State Association and its Officers? Timely news of your major project and other statewide charities? Does it publicize your scholarship programs? Here is your chance to see how your publication measures up to other State publications throughout the Nation. To find out, just enter Contest "I"!
The rules for entry are as follows:
- Enclose three copies each of any two issues of your State Publication published in the calendar year (January 1 to December 31).
- Judging is based on:
Content 0 - 100 points
Layout 0 - 50 points
Pictorial 0 - 25 points
General 0 - 25 points
(Here are some judging tips.) - Entries must be postmarked no later than January 15.
- Please do not submit your entries in notebooks or binders; they are not judged.
The 5-STAR Award System will be used as was done last year. The awards will be 5 Stars, 4 Stars, and 3 Stars. All Star Awards will be mailed to the State Associations to be awarded at one of their meetings or functions.
