Flags on Veterans' Graves
To commemorate Veterans Remembrance Month, Lodge No. 720 will lead a project to place American flags on veterans’ graves in 15 cemeteries in the greater Nashua, NH area. This project is a significant part of our lodge’s annual veterans’ program and involves volunteers from several scout troops and youth groups in addition to members of the Nashua lodge and Emblem Club No. 170. Approximately 5,000 flags will be placed by the headstones and markers on November 7 and will be collected on November 14. The flags will then be repaired, as necessary, and stored for redeployment on Memorial Day.
