Members of the Scholar Advisory Board advise the Elks National Foundation on the best ways to connect with our vast network of scholars. Their valuable perspectives as students and scholars help to shape ENF programming. Members stay connected virtually along with two in-person trips—one to Chicago in early December and another to the Elks National Convention in Austin, July 2024.

Being a part of the Scholar Advisory Board helps members develop their leadership skills and broaden their networks, but the best part of being on the Scholar Advisory Board is working alongside other passionate scholars. Former Scholar Advisory Board President Kat Nakamura says her decision to join the Scholar Advisory Board “would lead me to one of my most cherished experiences throughout college. We have become such a close group of friends and truly an Elks family.”
