The 2026 Most Valuable Student Leadership Weekend, which was April 30-May 2, brought the Top 20 scholars together in Chicago to bond over shared interests, learn more about their new #ElksFamily, complete a service project, and get ready for college. Read more about the magic of the weekend here!
In early January, 19 Elks scholars traveled to Savannah for the Winter Elks Scholar Service Trip. The scholars didn’t quite know what they’d be getting into. They had never met one another, and some had never served outside their own community. Although they came from different backgrounds, they went together perfectly.

In early January, 18 Elks scholars gathered in Chattanooga for the 2025 Winter Elks Scholar Service Trip. Though they arrived by planes and cars, the scholars were guided by the Chattanooga Choo Choo. The sign, sitting atop a tall building downtown, served as a landmark to guide the scholars back to their hostel at the end of the day.
