How to: Create Magazine Audit

Print this Topic Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Grand Lodge Elks Magazine division annually requires an update of their computer print out to be performed by the Secretary; a very laborious task! This is in addition to the status change notices that the Secretary sends throughout the year.

A computer printout of your membership listing sent in lieu of the noted changes on Grand Lodge listing is no longer acceptable. The solution to this dilemma and to save laborious hours of work by the Secretary is contained in Lodge Secretary as the Elks Magazine Annual Audit.

Grand Lodge will accept an Audit file as many times a year as there are significant changes.

Creating a Magazine Audit File

Step 1

Click the "Active Mb Circ Export" button which is on the system's Report toolbar (see image below).

Step 2

Click "OK" on the resulting message box as shown in the image below.

Step 3

Select a location on your hard drive to save the magazine audit text file to.

Step 4

Click the "Yes" button to send the audit file to the Grand Lodge via email. If you do not have internet access available you can click the No button and instead send your generated audit file to the Grand Lodge on CD or diskette.

Step 5

Add any identifying Lodge information to the email and send it to Grand Lodge.
