What it means to be an Elk: This organization was started by Charles Vivian and some of his followers. Eventually he and his followers parted ways. They parted ways because Charles Vivian, while a humanitarian to some extent, had an amicable indifference toward life. His live life today attitude handicapped his ability to see the greatness the organization could do by planning for tomorrow. Point here - Elks exist not just to have a good time, but to spread our resources on deserving causes. We do this through our many programs but can't do it without your help. So if you see a worthy cause in the community, please attend our Lodge Meeting and bring it to the Lodge's attention. Maybe we can help. Remember..."ELKS CARE, ELKS SHARE".
