HAPPY NEW YEAR,
I hope you all had a great Christmas. Another year has passed and many outstanding things have been done. You were witness to many first in the USA.
This lodge will be having a special meeting in mid Jan. to give you the state of 521. A letter will go out in the next week to give the exact details. I encourage the whole membership to attend. We will have a power point presentation by Keith Warf (secretary) as to the condition of this lodge. I hope you all attend with ideas. Criticism is not what we are looking for. The problems started when we moved to this location. We then had 900 members, we now have aprox. 450. This membership cannot support this facility. Please bring your ideas with you and attend. This is not a lodge meeting, it is a special meeting to let you all know that without your support, YOUR lodge will go away. I have also asked that our District Deputy, and Special Deputy attend. This is not the only lodge in financial trouble. Several have already closed and several are in the process. If you want to keep this lodge, I suggest you take an interest in it.
