In closing, I would like to thank, in advance, everyone who has helped me with the golf outing ,so far this year. With out you this thing would truly be impossible. Exalted Ruler Letter:
I am pleased to announce that the patio is completed. We had a small ceremony last Friday with a Champaign toast and a fire. About 20 members attended. I am going to try and give special thanks to those who donated their time and cash to this project. John Counceller for just to many things to list, but he was there every step of the way. Jay Johnson for donating his equipment. Shelby Materials for donating the concrete. John Hudecek for both time and funds. Neal Thorsenston for his help in getting me started. The few Widows who donated to our cause. This was something I wanted to do for a few years, and I waited until I was your ER to get this started. It was not an easy task, but after 4 months the job is complete. I would like all of you to stop in and visit our new addition. We are still needing donations of trees, flowers and shrubs. If need be call me and I will be happy to pick these items up for you. Our new computer system is up and running, and it is making getting reports much easier and accurate, which we could never get before. NOW FOR THE EXCITING NEWS. We have finally found the correct fit for our dinning room. These folks are fantastic, huge portions at a great price. I have had nothing but compliments. Now if we can get enough members to come out and support them, it will be a successful marriage. For the first time in years the food is great, I just hope we can keep them. Please pass the word to you friends.

DO NOT forget that we need your email address to send you the Tale or you can visit our web-site.

Thank You’s:
At this time we would like to thank our current Exalted Ruler Jeff Fasnacht for all that he has done for the Elks 521. He has shown leadership by his actions. Things that come to mind are:
he refinished the bar, cleaned and painted the bar floor, purchased the new Christmas trees for the lodge along with many new decorations. When we have gatherings he always donates food and or cooks it. He has sold raffles and help raise funds for the TV Fund in which we bought two new TVs for the bar and are getting ready to purchase another one. He raised money for the landscaping and patio which has just been completed. Now he is working on getting trees, bushes and flowers donated. He has helped fill officer positions; he went through the officer’s chair in four years, along with heading up the House Committee for four years. Was also Elk of the year. While some may not agree with him at times as with any leader, you would have to say he does put his heart, energy and time into the Lodge. With any decision he has made he tries to weigh all points and keep the best interest of the Lodge in mind. We know we have only named a few of the generous things Jeff has done and we are sure he will continue working for the Elks 521. We just wanted to say thank and keep it up.
