I would like to announce our Elk of the Month for
July. Lou Bartolotta Has been a member of our
lodge for Sixteen Years and is a good example of
an Elk. Lou helps with plumbing issues around the
lodge, is always willing to help where needed with
setting up or putting away tables and chairs after an event. I want to
recognize Lou for putting together and organizing the Elks Riders
Chapter at our lodge. Since creating our chapter, the Elks riders
under Lou’s leadership have restarted the Sunday breakfasts,
cooked dinner at events, and are actively involved in our community.
Some of these include donations to Hinka’s cupboard (food pantry),
organizing a fundraising ride for member Billy Hurteau, Easter Egg
hunt donations, and donation of a pop-up sunshade for the Veterans
living at the Sheppard Home. Lou is a positive and friendly person
who along with his wife Kathy bring enthusiasm and brotherly love to
the lodge. Please join me is thanking Lou for what he does and his
leadership of the Elks Riders Chapter. We are fortunate to have Lou
as a member of our lodge, and we all can call him our friend. Enjoy
