Description: Our Lodge will be having a benefit for John Snead (a.k.a. Big Daddy) on Thursday, April 9. John Snead opened little store on the lake many years ago which is now known as Big Daddy's. This once small store has grown into as social hot spot over the years, where many people have come to eat, have made new friends, and made precious memories. He has been diagnosed with cancer. He has been a staple in our community and is considered to be an all around good man. John has helped others in need in the past and now it is our turn to return the favor. On Thursday, we will be serving cheeseburgers, pulled pork sandwiches, and quartered chickens for $10 each. We will also be having a raffle for some pretty great prizes, and a 50-50 drawing. If that isn't enough, The Heartbreakers will also be doing the entertainment. All of the food and prize proceeds will be donated to John Snead and his family.
