Fundraising for Your Trip

A major component of any service trip is fundraising for one’s costs. While the only costs to you will be your $25 participation fee and your travel expenses to the trip location, we encourage you to fundraise for these costs if necessary. Apply for the Elks Scholar Travel Fund!

The Elks Scholar Travel Fund was set up in 2020 by an anonymous Elks scholar. After graduating, this scholar decided to pay it forward by setting up a travel fund for Elks scholars.

The Elks Scholar Travel Fund helps cover transportation expenses for Elks scholars to attend Elks Scholar Service Trips. While all scholars are welcome to apply, this fund will prioritize scholars who haven’t been able to attend a service trip previously. Recipients of the fund may be asked to pay it forward themselves by sharing their service experience with the Elks through a blog post, Lodge visit or otherwise.

We are now accepting travel fund applications for the next upcoming service trip.
