MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EACH AND EVERY ONE!

It is so good to see everyone back in the Lodge again as we see more and more of our winter visitors back in Apache Junction.  This is also a great time to thank all our “locals” for patronizing the Apache Junction Elks Lodge and making it possible for us to keep giving back to the community.

Again, just a reminder that to make everyone feel more comfortable coming into our Lodge, we have increased our cleaning efforts by sanitizing the bar, bar stools, each table and chairs after each use and deep cleaning every morning before we open.

With the help of everyone coming into the Lodge, we are continuing to give to Children’s Charities.  We had several baskets donated by Tom & Tracy Delleree and a raffle was held to raise money for Children’s Charities and a total of $308 was raised.  Thank you, Tracy, for putting the baskets together, and thank you to all that donated and won the baskets.

AJ Elks, along with the Superstition Mountain Promotional Corporation and the Goldfield Ghost Riders, put money together to shop for 8 needy families that included 29 kids in the City of Apache Junction.  Sandie Russell and Vicki Petrosky did all the shopping and did an amazing job.  We then had a present wrapping party, and it was amazing to see the number of people who showed up to help wrap all the presents.  Thank you all for your generous help.  That is one of the things that makes us proud to be Elks.

I would like to remind everyone that the AJ Elks Annual 31 Guns in 31 Days raffle is back and has started.  There are only 600 tickets available & can be purchased for $50 at the Lodge or online at ajelks.com/gun-raffle.  All the money raised from this raffle is used to give scholarships to Seniors in Apache Junction Schools.

Prime Rib is back on the Friday night menu and the dining room is open with live music starting at 5pm starring Jerry Barr and Judy.

I would like to remind everyone that the Lodge is closed on Christmas Day, but we are open on Christmas Eve with our traditional Tom & Jerry Party.

Thank you for continued support.

Respectfully,

Sherry Coker
