Cornerstone Grants

Organize your own service project!

Do you volunteer with an Elks Lodge? Would you like to serve alongside your parent or grandparent at an Elks Lodge? Would you like additional funding to start or enhance a service project at your local Elks Lodge?

We know that as an Elks scholar, you already uphold the cornerstones of the Foundation: knowledge, integrity, charity and community. Now, we want to help you do more! The ENF is offering six $500 Cornerstone Grants to any Elks scholar interested in starting or expanding a community service project with a local Elks Lodge.

The application will reopen June 1.

Looking for project ideas?

  • If you're a Legacy scholar, talk to your sponsoring parent or grandparent about what sort of service project they’d like to see at the Lodge. Ask them about charitable projects they are currently involved with, and see if there are any projects they’d like to see enhanced. If you're an MVS or EEG scholar, just reach out to the Lodge directly to set up a conversation. You can find contact information for a Lodge near you here.
  • Consider a cause that you are passionate about and ask the Lodge to partner with you in service project addressing that need.
  • Contact our office at scholarship@elks.org and we can help you generate ideas or connect you with your local Elks Lodge.
