Student Recognition Night 2022
Goldsboro Elks Lodge #139 held their annual Student Recognition Night on Wednesday, 4 May. Students present were recipients of MVS and Nursing scholarhips, American Essay Contest winners, and Hoop Shoot participants. Over 45 children and their parents attended dinner prior to the ceremony. Presenting the awards to our deserving students were ER Alex Wingate, Leading Knight Owen Jackson, and PER Doug McGrath:
Americanism Essay Contest winners were: Claire Boney, Tristan Geier, , Gracyn Perry, Autumn Moore, Dylan McDonough, and Soriah Moret (who also won 1st Place State Division I and will move on to National competition). Nursing Scholarship winners was Jalyn Lewis and Cassid King. MVS Scholarship winners were Catherine Eubanks, Graycen Faulk, Solomon-Amire Mubashir, Noah Hinnant, and Cassidy King. Hoop Shoot Contest Winners were Latvian Flowers, Zyannah Jones, Mikayla Lamb, and Kaeydin Armstrong
