2019 Gratitude Grant Awarded

The Fairhope Elks Lodge No. 1879 awarded this year's Gratitude Grant to the Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center.

Gratitude Grants are provided by the Elks National Foundation. These grants are the ENF's way of saying thank you to every Lodge that meets the National President's per-member goal for giving to the ENF. These are flexible grants, to meet local needs.

Cathy Wiley, Grant Coordinator, along with Chris Stacey, Exalted Ruler, presented the award to the Child Advocacy Center. The award consisted of $2,000 in art supplies, games, gas cards, snacks & beverages for the center.

For almost 30 years, the Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center has been providing a host of services and resources for child victims of sexual abuse and severe physical abuse and for their supportive, non-offending family members. These services are conducted in a home-like environment offering children who have been victimized the safety, comfort, and support vital to their healing.

Thank you ENF for providing us with this grant and thank you Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center for the work that you do!
