Aurora, CO 1921

On Friday 6/11/2021 the Aurora Elks hosted a meeting for the 140th Air Wing of the Colorado National Guard. They were able to use the lodge room for their meeting and a lunch of hamburgers, brats and fresh corn were grilled up by our very own PER/Chaplain Art Ashley and Lecturing Knight Dan Halkett. The 140th Air Wing was very appreciative of the facilities and a couple stayed after to chat with PER/Treasurer Rich Guerrero, Larry Zimmerman and Rick Oakes. They even left a patch that they currently wear on their sleeves and some of them are looking into becoming members!

Event was sponsored by the Colorado Miners who support youth basketball up to and including college thought the Denver metro area.
