Elks Junior Golf Clinic
Elks Lodge No. 2549 completed its annual junior golf clinic June 23 at the Uncle Remus Golf Course. The Elks host the clinic each June for three Tuesdays. About 15 youngsters competed the final day in chipping, putting and driving and got lessons in golf course etiquette. The clinic was for youngsters from 5- to 12-years-old. The Elks furnished prizes – sleeves of golf balls – for winners and provided lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs.
