The Bergenfield Elks Handicapped Children's Committee have announced their annual sponsorship of handicapped children who are Bergenfield residents between the ages of 7 and 18 to attend the New Jersey Elks Camp Moore this coming summer. The New Jersey Elks Handicapped Committee, in conjunction with the Bergenfield Elks and other lodges throughout the state, maintain a summer camp in Haskell, NJ, which is Camp Moore (a.k.a. "Miracle on the Mountain"). The camp averages about 700-800 handicapped campers per season who are from throughout the state. The Bergenfield Elks Lodge will bear the responsibility for each camper that attends from Bergenfield.
