ENF Beacon Grant Awarded to Richmond Elks Lodge No. 1251

Richmond Elks Lodge No. 1251 is one of fifty Lodges randomly selected by ENF to apply for a Beacon Grant. The Beacon Grant is a new program created as part of ENF's Community Investment Program. The Beacon Grants needs to be used in a visible and meaningful way to benefit the community, promote the Lodge's image in the community, attract new members and show the good things that Elks do.

Exalted Ruler Bob Ostini is exceedingly pleased to announce that Richmond Elks Lodge No. 1251 has successfully applied for and received a $2,000.00 Beacon Grant.

The Lodge will be working on two projects at St. Paul's School in San Pablo. The first is to complete the infield of the school's ball field. The backstop and "dugouts" will also be refurbished. (I'm hoping that the school can be convinced to call it "Elks Field".)

Lodge members will work with the school's parents to also build raise compose beds for a demonstration garden and other related science projects.
