Americanism Essay 2nd Place Recipient – Oklahoma
Congratulations to Miss Paige Chatham!!!
Meet Paige Chatham from Sand Springs, Oklahoma. This young lady has a deep love for America and for Oklahoma. Paige recently won 2nd place in the state of Oklahoma for the Americanism Essay Contest. This spring, the Oklahoma Elks Association held the Americanism Essay Contest statewide for all 5th through 8th graders. This year’s theme was “What Freedom Means To Me.” Paige says, “Whenever I think of America, I think of soldiers fighting for our freedom, and our loyalty to our country, and patriotism.” Paige has attended Anderson Elementary school since Pre-K and recently graduated 6th grade. She hopes to become a business owner when she grows up, but for now, she’s enjoying being a great kid! The Sand Springs, Oklahoma Elks Lodge #2253 is very proud of Paige Chatham!
