Our next Regular Lodge Meeting will be held on
Wednesday, 15 October 2008 at 6:30p.m.


SORROW - A Lodge of Sorrow was held at our 01 Oct 2008 Lodge meeting for PER Philip French who died on 25 September 2008 at the age of 87 years. He was an Elk for 40 years.

CONGRATULATIONS to our newly initiated Members, Bro. David J. Casnave proposed by PER Ted Awad and Bro. Tom Lee and Bro. Michel Tetrault proposed by Sis. Sandra Tockes who were initiated at our 01 Oct 2008 Lodge meeting. We look forward to their regular attendance at our Lodge meeting and active participation in Lodge and Club activities.

OFFICE OF THE TILER - Bro. Charles Robinson was elected to fill the position of Tiler for the balance of the Lodge Year 2008-2009.

PROPOSITIONS for MEMBERSHIP – have received Messrs. Andrew “Jay” Davis III proposed by Bro. Robert Sears and John Killion proposed by Bro. Matthew Slough.

AWAITING INDOCTRINATION and INITIATION – Messrs. Jessell “Jay” Aguilar proposed by PER Theodore V. Awad and Bro. Thomas Lee and Andrew “Jay” Davis III proposed by Robert M. Sears.

ELKS NATIONAL FOUNDATION - This is “ENF Month” and we look forward to receiving a contribution from every member. The attached brief is sent from ENF for your information and guidance. On behalf of the beneficiaries we thank you in advance for same. Mote: we are striving for our 18th Best Grand Lodge Area award. ELKS MEMBERSHIP/FELLOWSHIP COCKTAIL NITE – Thursday, 6 November 2008 (6-8pm) – Let us all work together to attain our goal to increase our Membership; invite a prospective member and introduce our organization and Club Facility! Our Lodge success lies in your hands! Complimentary food and drinks will be served as our way of showing your guests the best of the Elks Club in a very informal atmosphere.
