Haleigh Martin from Bergenfield Elks Lodge #1477 wins State Hoop Shoot held in Woodbridge on February 10th 2008. Haleigh competed in the U-10 girls division. She competed against 8 and 9 year old girls from all 12 Districts in New Jersey. She will go to Wilkes Barre PA for the regional Hoop Shoot finals held March 29, 2008: Regional “Hoop Shoot” Finals at Coughlin H.S. in Wilkes-Barre, PA. 9:00 A.M. From there the winners will go to National “Hoop Shoot” Finals at Western New England College in Springfield, MA. (Contest held April 26, 2008 at 9:00 A.M.)
