NOVEMBER is Veterans Remembrance Month - November is proclaimed as "National Veterans Remembrance Month" and the Grand Lodge has requested all Lodges to observe this month of recollection of the debt we owe to all veterans in the manner which has been recommended by the Elks National Veterans Service Commission in its communications to all Lodges.
ANNONCEMENTS :
VETERANS DAY Nov. 11, 2006 - Saturday - will be observed with a ceremony at the
Manila American Cemetery and Memorial. Wreath laying will be at 11:00a.m. and the ceremony will begin promptly at 11:30a.m. to commemorate the "signing of the armistice on the 11th hour, of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918". All are invited and requested to be seated at 10:45a.m.
THANKSGIVING DAY Nov. 23, 2006 - Thursday - A Family Thanksgiving Treat
for the whole family at the Elks. A Plated Luncheon Special at Php425 per person and Dinner Buffet at Php600 per person will start at 7:00p.m. Free Cocktails and Wine Tasting will be served between 6-7:00p.m. Make your reservations now, don't make yourself &.. be the last! Seats will be assigned based on First IN reservations. Hurry!!! Only at the Elks will you enjoy a Real Turkey lunch and dinner complete with trimmings.
A POOL POKER NIGHT every Tuesdays at the Elks Club. All members and their
Guests are invited.
Friday Jammin' at the Elks from 7pm - 11pm with Live Entertainment (Pianist) at the
Lounge
