On Feb 5, 2006 the Elks Lodge took an evening to recognize more than a dozen individuals and groups who have made the Wildwoods better through their hard work, courage and compassion. The second annual Neighborhood Heroes award ceremony honored the good deeds and community service of local residents, many of whom went above and beyond the call of duty to serve their community. Over the next several weeks the Wildwood Leader will be highlighting these men and women.
