BERGENFIELD ELKS AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS TO FOUR BERGENFIELD HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATING SENIORS

Recently, the Bergenfield Elks Scholarship Committee awarded scholarships of over $7,000 to four (4) recently graduating Bergenfield High School Seniors, based upon financial need and academic performance. The recipients of the scholarships were Allison D’Esposito (pictured with Bergenfield Elks Exalted Ruler, Paul Martin), who was accepted to Montclair State University, Heidi Sulich (also pictured), who was accepted to Ramapo College, and Michael Lee, who was accepted to Boston College. James Kneisler, (pictured with members of the Bergenfield Elks Handicapped Children’s Committee) was also the recipient of the Bergenfield Elks’ annual handicapped academic scholarship. There was a ceremony for the student recipients and refreshments were served. The members of the Bergenfield Elks wish these and all of the recently graduated high school seniors the best of luck and success in their new endeavors. The Elks organization is one of the largest sponsors of academic scholarships for students nationwide.
