For the Month of June, I would like to Honor Bill Currlin as our Elk of the Month. As many of you know, Bill is our lodge Veterans Committee Chair, and Is a fantastic supporter of Veterans in the lodge and out in the community. The Kayaking program is a great example of people working together for a cause. Bill and Barbara Miller have worked so hard to help our veterans feel Welcome and part of something wonderful. Bill’s work with the American Red Cross and the blood Drive work he does is saving lives everyday ! I don’t know where to even start when thinking about the replica of the Tomb of an unknown soldier. Bill’s dream of doing something has evolved into an amazing community project that will be honored and shared with many residents of Middlesex County. Great job Bill, as one Army guy to another, I am proud to call you my friend, proud that you are a member of our ELKS Lodge, and proud of the work you do With our community Veterans Groups.
