As we look to May, let’s hope for the rain to stop and sun to shine its rays on us! In that spirit, we acknowledge a very bright ray of light in our Lodge as we honor Marianne Johnson as our May Elk of the Month. Marianne is an Associate Member of the 1989, her main Lodge being Long Beach, Washington., but she has been extremely active and giving to her second home. Marianne has been involved in many Committees and activities including the Women’s and Children’s Shelter, Christmas Baskets, and Loud Mouth Bingo, among many others. Along with Arolene Ott, she was pivotal in the inventory and organization of all our Lodge linens as well as the storage room clean up. Most recently, she was a member of the Inaugural Ball Committee and was instrumental in planning and set-up of the event as well as working tirelessly the night of the event serving and cleaning up. Marianne is always willing and ready to jump in and help when needed with energy and a great attitude! Thank you, Marianne , for giving so much yourself to better our great Lodge!
