The Batters Up batting competition was started initially in New Jersey, but Minnesota kicked off it's own Batters Up competition with kids from Hopkins Lodge #2221 and Minneapolis Lodge #44. Over 150 kids participated in the local events and the top three winners in each grade moved on to the District Competition held in September.
