Montana Health & Human Services received $1,750 in supplies from Beacon Grant

The Elks National Foundation has made $3,500 in Beacon grants available to every lodge. Beacon grants allow lodges a chance to develop an on-going, charitable Elks-driven community project.

After hearing from Wolf Point Elks Treasurer Gary Johnson about the need for items for Montana Health and Human Services, secretary Julie D’Ambrosio thought that another great local project for the Elks would be providing needed supplies to foster children in the area. The result was, through a Beacon grant, donating $1,750 in supplies to the Wolf Point location. Items included car seats, pack and plays, duffle and diaper bags. Elks member Tim Pedersen & wife Julie present the donation to MHHS staff member Taylor Gardner.
