Happy July all AJ Elks! It’s going to be a hot one but the Lodge is nice and cool so come on in and join us for another fun-filled month.
I spent July 4th through July 7th in Tampa Florida at our annual Elks National Convention. It was great being able to spend those few days in person with over 6,000 other Elks. Our new Grand Exalted Ruler for this year is T. Keith Mills from Idaho.
We have a few fundraisers scheduled this month:
July 24th is The Day of the Cowboy. There will be live music, costume contests, food, and a 50/50 raffle. It is only $5 per ticket and all proceeds will be donated to the Veterans so come out and join us.
July 31st is our Cornhole Tournament starting at 6 pm. Registration starts at 5:30 so come out and join us. We also have the Vice President of the Arizona Elks Association coming out for a visit that day so let’s make her feel at home and show her why our Lodge is the “FRIENDLIEST ELKS LODGE IN ARIZONA”!
REMEMBER…we started a new year on April 1st so if you haven’t paid your dues, please do so and pick up your new membership cards. You don’t want to miss out on all we have happening at the Lodge!
