HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EACH AND EVERY ONE!

It is so good to see everyone back in the Lodge again as we see more and more of our winter visitors back in Apache Junction.  This is also a great time to thank all of our “locals” for patronizing the Apache Junction Elks Lodge and making it possible for us to keep giving back to the community.

Again, just a reminder that to make everyone feel more comfortable coming into our Lodge, we have increased our cleaning efforts by sanitizing the bar, bar stools, each table and chairs after each use and deep cleaning every morning before we open.

In December we donated $2,500 to help purchase 2 service dogs for Veterans.  With the help of everyone coming into the Lodge, we are also continuing to give to Children’s Charities.

I would like to remind everyone of the activities that we continue to have at the Lodge.  Girls Night Out with Sue Dolan is the 3rd Tuesday of every month and this month it is on the 20th.  Trivia is the 3rd Wednesday of every month and it will be on the 21st of this month.  We also have live music every Saturday from 2pm to 5pm and the kitchen is open during this time.

I would like to remind everyone that the AJ Elks Annual 31 Guns in 31 Days raffle is back and has started.  There are only 600 tickets available & can be purchased for $50 at the Lodge or online at ajelks.com/gun-raffle.  All of the money raised from this raffle is used to give scholarships to Seniors in Apache Junction Schools.

Remember, Prime Rib is back on the Friday night menu and the dining room is open with live music starting at 5pm starring Jerry Barr and Judy.

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that we lost two outstanding Elk members, Carl Walker and Bill Howes.  We also lost Kathy Beaver, the spouse of Richard Beaver.  My deepest condolences to their families, they will be dearly missed.

Thank you for your continued support.

Respectfully,

Sherry Coker
