1893 BPOE Artifact Found
The mundane chore of cleaning a store room as unearthed a 127 year old Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks “By-Laws and Rules of the Order” manual.
ER Kris Benedict and Lodge Secretary Starr Zynski were determined to get some much needed Spring cleaning done in the lodge storeroom. While rearranging the boxes, they found the forgotten manual. The delicate pages were still in tact and included 1894 revisions taped in the applicable locations.
This very rare piece of Elks history will be hanging in the Lodge for all to see.
