Fajita lunch to benefit Zach Sutterfield, who suffered burns in San Marco fire

SAN ANGELO — A fajita lunch is planned to benefit Zachary Sutterfield, a Central High School graduate who suffered extensive burns in a massive San Marcos apartment fire in July.

The San Angelo Elks Lodge announced in a news release Wednesday it will be partner with the Cooking for Christ Cook Team for the benefit, which will be 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Elks Lodge, 2121 S. Chadbourne St.

Plates of chicken or beef fajitas will be $10, dine in or take-out.

The Elks will also sell Canadian bacon and have a silent auction, according to the release. Donations for the auction and donations of desserts are requested to be dropped off at the lodge by 9 p.m. Nov. 2.
