Veterans Flag Raising-meet at Oak Park school at 8 am plan to help place flags along the main roads of Oak Park as part of the Veterans Community Project.
Flag retirement ceremony performed by Boy Scout Troop #1, at the Lodge at 6 pm. Drop off your worn and weathered flag to the Lodge. We will ensure they are respectfully retired by Boy Scout Troop #1.
Flag Retirement Party hosted by the Elks Veteran Committee and American Veterans Motorcycle Group. Smoked food and entertainment. Watch for more details.
Nov. 16th: Thursday- Elks Thanksgiving Dinner - Contact Tonya Koster to help with cooking or bring sides.
Nov 18th: Elks flash back "Prom". Theme: "Under The Stars". Wear your years Prom theme attire and enjoy a night of dancing under the Elk star while listening to the top hits of the decades. Watch out for the spiked punch! More details to come.

Giving Update: We have donated to our local community to date $83,000.00.
Membership Committee: 3rd quarter membership drive runs from Oct 1 - Dec 31. Winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to the Elks Lodge. Good luck to everyone! We are 13 members away from meeting the yearly goal of 50! Talk to people about everything Elks do in our local community.
Member cards: Bi-Annual membership dues are now past due. Your dues must be current to utilize the Lodge and it's facilities. Any member that is behind on your dues will need to bring them current or contact Susan to work out suitable arrangements to bring your due current. Any member not in good standing will not be able to utilize the lodge or its facilities.
Kids Room Committee update: Remodel to start soon. Looking for donation of items, funds, or volunteers to work. We would like to see everyone get involved in some way. Once this is completed we will be looking into sharing the Antlers program at our lodge for local youth to have a place to organize their charity work for our community. Contact: Jim Schreppel.
