New Member Information
Being asked by an Elks Member to join is the beginning of a great experience for yourself and family. Here we will give you a sequence of events that transpires before you can become part of the Benevolent and Protective order of the Elks.
- 1. Application must be presented and turned into the Elks Lodge by a member.
- 2. You will be sent an invitation to be investigated by the Elks Lodge. This occurs on the second Monday night of the month.
- 3. The members of the Jonesboro Elks Lodge will then vote on your acceptance into the order.
- 4. Upon receiving your acceptance letter you will be required to attend a " New Member Orientation" This is always on the 4th Monday of the month.
- 5. To complete your process of entering the fold you will be required to go through an Initiation. This occurs on the 4th Thursday every month at 7 P.M.
