13 Week Club - 3 Cycles a Year!

$65 Gets you 13 Chances to Win plus 9 Additional Grand Prizes awarded at the end of cycle.

Payment can be made by cash or check (payable to Sebastian Elks #2714 with 13 Week Club on the memo line).

The 13 Week Club was established in February 2018 and has become an important source of funding for Lodge improvements while also providing members with the opportunity to win weekly and grand cash prizes. Since its inception, the program has raised approximately $130,000, with about 50% paid out in prizes and the remaining funds deposited into the 13 Week Club Restricted Account. These funds are used exclusively for general maintenance and Lodge upgrades, as approved by the 13 Week Club Captains, the Board of Directors, and the general membership.


Thanks to the continued support of our members, the 13 Week Club has helped fund many improvements to our Lodge, including:


Accomplishments Made Possible by the 13 Week Club

  • Purchased bar mats (two separate occasions)
  • Replaced lounge flooring
  • Purchased new lounge bar stools
  • Replaced carpeting in the hall
  • Paid for electrical work and ceiling fans in the Pavilion
  • Trimmed all trees surrounding the Lodge
  • Purchased new ceiling fans for the lounge
  • Painted ceilings in all public areas of the Lodge
  • Purchased the Elk statue with granite signage and installation
  • Replaced lounge chairs
  • Purchased new plastic tables for the hall
  • Replaced the kitchen stove
  • Paid for soffit repairs on the south and west sides of the building

Eligibility

Participation is open to:

  • Elks members
  • Spouses or significant others of an Elk
  • Immediate family members


How the 13 Week Club Works

  • A $65 upfront payment covers the full 13-week cycle ($5 per week)
  • Payment may be made by check payable to Sebastian Elks Lodge #2714 or cash
  • A telephone number is required
  • Payments may be given to Sally Champagne, Dee Sharland, or any bartender
  • Each participant is assigned a random number, typically kept for the duration of the cycle
  • Drawings are held every Tuesday at 6:30 PM
  • Members do not need to be present to win — winners will be notified by phone or voicemail
  • Winnings may be picked up in the Lounge during business hours
  • After every drawing, the winning number is placed back into the drum and remains eligible to win again (this applies to both weekly and grand prize drawings)


Grand Prize Drawings

At the conclusion of each 13-week cycle, nine Grand Prizes are awarded. Prize amounts are based on total participation, with the smallest prize always being $65.

Example with 100 participants:

  • Grand Prize: $1,000
  • 2nd Prize: $500
  • 3rd Prize: $300
  • 4th Prize: $150
  • 5th Prize: $65
  • Four additional prizes of $200 each


This results in approximately $2,800 paid out in prizes, and $2,800 added to the Lodge Reserve Account.


The 13 Week Club is a fun, affordable way to support Sebastian Elks Lodge 2714 while giving members multiple chances to win throughout each cycle. We encourage all eligible members and families to participate before the enrollment deadline.
