GRAND LODGE and DISTRICT NEWS

Members! Here is an update on our Grand Exaulted Ruler, Bruce Ridley, after he suffered a Cerebral Accident on Thursday, August 11th.

The following note has been received from GER Bruce and 1st Lady Helen:

Helen and I want to thank you for your thoughts and prayers. We also want to share this update concerning my health. I am home, in good spirits and in my primary physician's care. Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to visit with our friends in West Virginia and Ohio. We are looking forward to visiting with all of you as soon as I am allowed. Keep Promoting Elkdom with Enthusiasm.

Fraternally,
Bruce and Helen Hidley, GER and First Lady

Midterm Convention
Housing Information

Elk Members: Attached are the housing and registration forms for the Midterm convention in Burbank.

There are 4 hotels offered but I am told they will try and get our district into the main hotel – LA Marriott Burbank Airport. The sooner you get the forms back to me the better chance we have. I would like them by Friday, August 12th. You can email both forms to me and I will send them in as a District.  Whatever ones I don't have by next Friday I will send as they come.

All members are welcome to attend!

The officers required to attend are: Exalted Ruler, Leading Knight, Secretary and Head Trustee.
